We will be performing at the Toledo Museum of Art during their block party and Juneteenth celebration. Our musical selections are inspired by the work of artist Jaume Plensa whose sculptures will be on display at the event. We will move between the various installations throughout the evening, performing in several locations. Monroe St., in front of the museum, will be shut down to make room for the food trucks - and the whole evening will be filled with entertainment from various groups.

This set of pieces represents a collaboration between Southern California based composer David V. Montoya and poet William Wallis. The five songs in the set trace the relationship between a father and son over the course of their lives.

Celebrate Robert Burns birthday with drinking songs and beer! w&ea. is teaming with Vashon Allied Arts to present a night to celebrate the Scottish Bard. Delicious craft beer will be provided by Vashon Island's Cliff's Beer.

w&ea. presented a variety of works based on, or inspired by, Twitter and tweets. The concert featured seven pieces that we received via our #TwitterCommission submission process, including 5 World Premieres.

w&ea. returned as the winners of Sprout 8. Our presentation included a summary of our song and drink event, as well as performances of old and new music. Presenters at Sprout 9 included some of Seattle's brightest filmmakers. Dinner for the event was created by Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, the husband and wife team behind Joule and Revel.

w&ea. hosted a night of drinking songs at The Old Pequiliar in Ballard. A packed bar shared their voices as we reaised our glass and sang traditional pub music. The event also featured performances of "Ein Bier" by Ludocius Episcopius (1520-1595) and "Purple-Stained Mouth" by Joshua Shank.

Eight singers performed the first movement of "Hungry Ghosts" by local composer Nat Evans as part of "Rockwood," a site specific installation by local artist Zack Bent.
